HOSPITALIZATION
Medical cases are given
constant attention and some my require intensive care. This
may include the use of oxygen therapy in our oxygen cage, heated
cages for treatment of debilitated pets, cardiac monitoring,
intravenous fluid therapy, and blood transfusions. All the
doctors and trained technicians work to assure patient care and
comfort. photo
If the need for major
medical care arises, be asured that every up-to-date procedure and
support equipment will be utilized to care for your loved
one. Each pet that is hospitalized for an illness is
constantly monitored, and assigned to one staff member for personal
care. You wil be notified of progress at least once
daily. On occassion we may ask you to visit your pet for
reassurance. Detailed instructions and handouts regarding
their home care will be explained. Don't be surprised
if we call you after your pet has been home for a few days to check
on our friend and answer any questions you may
have.
VISITATION AND
HOSPITAL TOURS
Visitation of hospitalized pets
is allowed and many times evcouraged. Please call ahead to
arrange a onvenient time. We are also pleased to offer tours
of our hospital to indivividual or groups upon
request.
